About the role:
This is a key role within our Data & Insights team, delivering data quality frameworks, products, and analytics that enable data-driven decision-making across the firm. You'll work with stakeholders from across Business Solutions – a collection of functions that enable our people and our business to perform at their best.
We're looking for a Senior Associate to drive improvements in data quality and build the foundations that enable AI-insight generation. This role combines hands-on data analysis and Power BI capability with strategic focus on data quality – identifying root causes of poor data, designing frameworks and products to address them, and working with stakeholders to embed a culture of continuous data quality improvement.
This is an exciting time to join the team. As AI reshapes how data teams operate, this role will evolve – moving beyond reactive data cleaning towards becoming a trusted advisor who helps the firm build trustworthy data assets, ask better questions, and embed data-driven decision making at scale. We're looking for someone energised by that shift.
What your days will look like:
- Develop and implement data quality frameworks, roadmaps, and scalable controls that improve data maturity, reduce manual intervention, and increase confidence in data assets.
- Create and optimise Power BI dashboards, scorecards, monitoring tools, and semantic models to identify, track, and report on data quality issues and improvements.
- Analyse and investigate data to identify trends, anomalies, and root causes, collaborating with source system owners to resolve issues and improve data quality at source.
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to translate data quality challenges into business impact, promote data governance best practices, and drive continuous improvement through innovation, knowledge sharing, and AI-enabled solutions.
This role is for you if you’re:
- Experienced as a data analyst and Power BI developer, with strong skills in data interrogation, quality assessment, DAX, and data modelling.
- A strategic thinker who can identify root causes of data quality issues, uncover trends, and drive long-term improvements rather than short-term fixes.
- Passionate about data quality and governance, with a clear understanding of its impact on business decision-making, reporting, and AI-driven insights.
- An excellent communicator and relationship builder, able to translate technical issues into business outcomes and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Curious and forward-thinking, with an interest in AI, automation, and innovative approaches to improving data management and analytical capability.
- Collaborative, organised, and self-motivated, with the ability to manage competing priorities, share knowledge, and deliver high-quality outcomes; experience with Databricks, Workday, or ServiceNow is advantageous.
