Senior Project Manager – AI & Data (Banking Industry)

With a global presence and over 9000 employees worldwide we aim to be the transformation partner of choice for all of our clients.                                                                                                                                   Responsibilities:• Lead the end-to-end delivery of strategic AI, GenAI, and Data programs and projects, ensuring alignment with the bank’s project management standards from initiation through closure.

• Define and manage project scope, objectives, milestones, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with business and technology stakeholders.

• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations, while proactively managing risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.

• Serve as the primary contact for senior stakeholders, technology leads, vendors, and regional/head office counterparts, ensuring effective governance through steering committees, decision forums, approvals, and reporting.

• Oversee AI, GenAI, analytics, and data platform initiatives, embedding responsible AI principles across the lifecycle, including ethics, privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.

• Translate complex technical and data concepts into clear, executive-level communication and decision materials.

• Manage project financials, including budget planning, forecasting, and cost tracking, while leading vendor engagement and optimizing resource utilization.

• Provide accurate and timely project status reports, dashboards, and governance artefacts, conduct post-implementation reviews, and drive continuous improvement of AI and Data delivery practices.

• Mentor and guide junior project managers, fostering a culture of accountability, quality, and innovation.

Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.

• Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) preferred; Agile/Scrum certification is an advantage.

• Minimum 12 years of IT project management experience, including at least 3–5 years leading large-scale, complex initiatives.
• Demonstrated success in delivering AI, GenAI, data analytics, or data platform programs.
• Experience working in regulated industries such as banking or financial services.
• Proven ability to manage multi-stakeholder, regional initiatives.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Solid understanding of AI, data analytics, cloud platforms, and modern data architecture.
• Strong capabilities in risk, issue, dependency, and financial management.
• High level of judgment, accountability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to operate effectively in a regional, multi-cultural environment.
