Job Description

Position Overview

AECOM is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Graphic Designer to support Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise within the Planning Department. This role focuses on producing high-quality visual communications including interactive PDF reports, PowerPoint presentations, diagrams, and graphics that support traffic engineering, planning initiatives, executive presentations, and project documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and produce high impact graphics, infographics, figures, and layouts for planning and traffic engineering deliverables
  • Create visually engaging, interactive PDF reports
  • Develop clear, polished, and professional PowerPoint presentations
  • Create diagrams and visualizations that support traffic engineering and planning concepts
  • Ensure brand consistency, formatting accuracy, and strong quality review across all materials
  • Work collaboratively with multiple team members and incorporate iterative feedback
  • Manage multiple assignments with shifting priorities while meeting short deadlines

 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or related field and 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in layout design, desktop publishing, and creating interactive PDFs using Adobe Creative Cloud - InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat Pro
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint -, including template development
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and strong quality review skills
  • Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, visually understandable graphics
  • Strong time-management and prioritization skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative, professional, and client-focused approach
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools and technologies is helpful
