Accountabilities

• Build, develop, and optimize high-performance Android applications focused on risk control and identity verification solutions.

• Integrate and deploy lightweight AI models directly on Android devices, including face recognition, liveness detection, and user action recognition technologies.

• Design and maintain Android client-side libraries and frameworks to improve development efficiency, scalability, and code quality.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop hybrid frameworks and optimize on-device inference pipelines.

• Implement user verification workflows, including camera capture, on-device preprocessing, and backend API communication.

• Develop and optimize real-time video processing capabilities, including camera stream management and frame analysis.

• Contribute to Android architecture decisions and improve application performance, reliability, and maintainability.

• Work closely with product, backend, and security teams to deliver secure and seamless user experiences.

• Continuously evaluate and adopt modern mobile development practices to improve technical solutions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience developing Android applications from scratch.

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java, with solid understanding of Android development principles.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Proven experience deploying and optimizing on-device AI or machine learning models on Android platforms.

• Hands-on experience integrating lightweight ML models for applications such as face recognition, liveness detection, or action recognition.

• Strong knowledge of Android video processing, including camera capture, real-time frame processing, and video stream handling.

• Experience developing computer vision-based products, including face detection, anti-spoofing, and identity verification workflows.

• Strong understanding of Android architecture, Jetpack components, OkHttp, and related mobile development frameworks.

• Familiarity with cross-platform technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or React is a plus.

• Knowledge of C++ and JNI is considered an advantage.

• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and experience collaborating with distributed teams.
