A Brief Overview Supports the Medicaid Value-Added Benefits (VAB) Team by recommending appropriate actions, strategies and/or alternatives to meet business needs related to benefit design, build and management within our Salesforce-Based Health Innovation Platform (HIP). Responsible for leading/managing business aspects of HIP such as planning, coordination, development, reporting and implementation of new and existing VABs. Act as a liaison between IT and the business segment to facilitate documenting business requirements. Ensures scope-of-work meets business objectives and that all deliverables and due dates are met. Highly collaborative process requiring relationship management across Medicaid health plans and other key functional areas.
What you will do
- Work with product leads and governance committees to manage intake, review, and execution of product improvement and development initiatives for managed products
- Maintain and refine the product backlog in partnership with DDAT
- Facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
- Translate customer, colleague, and business needs into clear feature initiatives that track enterprise ROI
- Develop, track, and manage key financial and other performance indicators for improvement and optimization.
- Build and maintain product portfolio catalog with comprehensive product information, performance data, and dashboards/reports to ensure key stakeholders have up-to-date and easily accessible product knowledge
- Lead data analysts professionals to deliver automated solutions for exchanging information with Value Added Services vendors, track and trend issue management with HIP platform and vendor issues related to benefits
- Leverage in-depth knowledge and understanding of products across functions and market segments in directing the development and implementation of new product initiatives, including product enhancements
- Oversee vendor relationship management for our managed products, serving as the main point of contact for business requests regarding performance and risk issues, contract management, and as the day-to-day primary point of contact with the vendor and vendor activities
- Collaborate with the product team, health plans, and other internal functional areas to lead vendor performance reviews and ensure necessary action plans are created and implemented
For this role you will need Minimum Requirements
- At least 7 years of healthcare or health insurance industry experience
- 2 years or more of Product Development, Product Management or Operations experience
- Experience leading change management
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading cross-functional project management initiatives
- Vendor management experience
- Experience with execution and delivery (planning, deploying, and supporting) skills
- Demonstrated understanding of technology and how it can be applied to solve business problems/provide technical solutions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Education
- Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$67,900.00 - $199,144.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
