Are you looking to join a dynamic and international team supporting critical projects in the nuclear industry?

As a Project Manager within the OMS Major Projects Department, you will be responsible for delivering low to medium complexity projects from initiation through closeout. You will lead multidisciplinary teams and ensure projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with customer expectations.

Westinghouse OMS Major Projects supports customers across Europe, Latin America, and Asia through innovative solutions in machining, welding, non-destructive examination (NDE), and complex field services, helping nuclear operators maximize the safety, reliability, and longevity of their assets.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning

  • Develop project scope, schedules, budgets, and execution plans.
  • Establish and maintain project baselines for cost, schedule, and resources.
  • Define project objectives and performance indicators.

Project Execution & Control

  • Lead all phases of project execution and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, procurement, quality, communications, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ensure effective implementation of change management processes.
  • Monitor project performance and financial results, including forecasting and Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Review expenditures and ensure alignment with approved project baselines.
  • Communicate project progress and key metrics to stakeholders.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, product line teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate resources and ensure effective collaboration across functions.
  • Support customer satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve project performance and execution.
  • Capture lessons learned and promote best practices.
  • Contribute to operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.

Project Closeout

  • Ensure proper project closure, including documentation, financial reconciliation, and lessons learned.
  • Conduct final quality assessments and project reviews.

Profile

Education

  • Master's degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience

  • 3 to 10 years of experience in project management within an industrial, engineering, energy, or technical environment.
  • Experience managing medium-complexity projects is highly desirable.
  • Candidates with experience as a Technical Lead and a strong interest in developing a project management career are encouraged to apply.
