Your new job:
- Full-Stack Development with JavaScript/Node.js: Join the team behind OX App Suite and help shape the future of one of the world's leading open-source collaboration platforms. We work remotely across Germany with a high level of ownership and autonomy. Rather than following rigid role boundaries, we take collective responsibility for the entire development lifecycle—from architecture and implementation to testing, quality assurance, and deployment.
- Cloud-Native Development with Kubernetes: Our platform runs as a distributed application on Kubernetes, serving millions of users across customer environments as well as our own cloud infrastructure.
- Quality, Automation & Developer Tooling: CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, agentic coding, and long-term maintenance are an integral part of how we work. We believe quality is built into the development process—not added afterwards.
This is the tech stack you'll be working with:
Your background:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and modern web architectures.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
- Experience working with relational databases such as MariaDB or PostgreSQL.
- Passion for designing intuitive APIs and user interfaces with a strong focus on usability.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly, contribute ideas, and collaborate effectively within a development team.
- Fluent German and solid English communication skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Vue.js, especially its reactivity system.
- Experience with microservices, Kubernetes, container technologies, and cloud-native architectures.
- A strong eye for UI design and user experience (UX).
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive software design.
