Job Description
How will you do it?
The senior finance analysis is responsible for handling FP&A matters, including coordination with the functional department and business operations. He or She has the overall responsibility for preparing the HQ level reporting on a monthly basis and outlook rolling report by quarter and consolidated all HQ financial statements. He or she also has the responsibility of monitoring of the overall compliance with Johnson Controls´ finance policies, procedures and timelines applicable to the respective country’s legal entities.
Primary Duties:
Business partner
1. Review all of cost centre and make appropriate accrual to ensure the P&L is fluctuated on a reasonable or explainable level.
2. MEC activities and variance to normal.
3. Monitor each cost centre and make sure the allocation to be done.
Financial Reporting:
1. Assist the uploading work to HFM Essbase for yearly planning and rolling forecast on a quarterly basis.
2. Prepare and report to the HQ’ flash and outlook per timeline.
3. Provide the details actual data vs plan vs last year report to different functions.
Finance function:
1. Work closely with functional department for all end-to-end finance support, big projects’ expense and progress tracking to month-end closing.
2. Track to actual data with trend flux analyse rolling 3 months.
Skills and Competencies Required:
· Bachelor’s degree with accounting/finance major
· Previous financial and management reporting experience with an Multinational Corporate Finance or American company
· 5+ Years of relevant work experience
· Good command of English
· In depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP
· Good SAP knowledge with hands-on experience using the ERP
· Good Excel and Hyperion Financial Management system
· Excellent interpersonal
· Strong customer service focus
