We’re looking for someone with strong experience in Android development to help us take our user experience for Dott riders to the next level. The Ride Experience team in Berlin has several kind, talented and hard-working engineers who will help you feel proud of your work with us.

YOU WILL

  • Brainstorm, design, implement, test, deploy, and release features and bug fixes for our Android app used by over 100K riders every day across Europe and the Middle East;
  • Persistently and iteratively improve the ride experience for Android users, all the way from finding a vehicle and starting a ride, through to finding a place to park and locking the vehicle;
  • Own stability and latency, improving app start-up, preventing crashes, and optimising our weekly release cycle;
  • Work alongside product, design, iOS engineers, and backend engineers to push features from problem clarification all the way to post-release monitoring;
  • Raise the bar by challenging us to be better, through thoughtful code reviews, architecture decisions, and improving our ways of working;
  • Experimenting with new patterns of software engineering with AI systems; and
  • Advocate boldly for the rider so that our users know they can trust us.

YOU’LL FIT GREAT WITH THESE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Clear written and spoken communication in English

Nice to have:

  • Exposure to iOS or backend development
