We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Business Systems Analyst to drive forward key initiatives and deliver capabilities to business stakeholders using SDLC and Agile methodologies. As a BSA supporting our Omnichannel Systems team, you will become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) across a portfolio of platforms and capabilities that power Skechers' digital and retail experiences — including product content management, eCommerce operations, and broader omnichannel initiatives.
In this role, you will work at the intersection of product data, digital experiences, and system integrations, partnering closely with Merchandising, Sales, Marketing, eCommerce, Digital, and IT stakeholders to ensure that business capabilities are delivered accurately, efficiently, and consistently across channels. This includes gathering requirements, designing solutions, writing specifications, and conducting quality assurance testing.
What You'll Do
Business Analysis
- Interacts directly with business stakeholders to gather and document business needs and evaluate existing processes and procedures across a variety of systems and platforms.
- Interprets business requirements and creates solutions that meet user needs across multiple platforms and initiatives.
- Writes detailed business requirement documents, functional specifications, integration specifications, and data mapping documents for use by developers and integration teams.
- Creates workflow process diagrams, wireframes, mapping documents, ERDs, use cases, user stories, logical data models, and application documentation for record keeping and knowledge sharing.
- Serves as a functional owner and SME for assigned platforms, with growing expertise across product content management, eCommerce, and omnichannel systems.
- Advises business teams on platform capabilities, best practices, and scalable data governance strategies.
- Prepares and presents project status updates, solution designs, and platform roadmap recommendations to senior stakeholders and leadership.
Platform Configuration & Solution Design
- Supports configuration and administration of assigned platforms, including data modeling, attribute management, workflow setup, and channel configuration.
- Supports product content and data flows to retail partners, marketplaces, and digital channels.
- Defines and monitors channel-specific content readiness rules and completeness standards to ensure data meets publication requirements across eCommerce, wholesale, and marketplace channels.
- Partners with IT architects and integration engineers to design and support integrations between business systems and connected platforms.
- Manages user roles, permissions, and access control configurations within assigned platforms, ensuring adherence to data governance and security standards.
- Manages third-party vendors for issue resolution, product enhancements, and release management.
- Coordinates with regional teams for localization and market-specific requirements, ensuring regional compliance for platform content and configurations.
- Supports eCommerce and omnichannel initiatives including site functionality, order management, customer experience improvements, and digital operations.
Continuous Improvement, Support and Delivery
- Triages and resolves user-reported issues in a timely manner; provides training and support to end-users to maximize platform adoption and proficiency.
- Identifies technical debt, process inefficiencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement across assigned systems and platforms.
- Defines and monitors KPIs relevant to platform health and business outcomes; leverages platform reporting and BI tools to communicate status to stakeholders.
- Monitors delivery progress and proactively identifies, communicates, and helps resolve project risks, dependencies, and impediments.
- Coordinates with external implementation partners, consultants, and vendors to ensure delivery quality and alignment with enterprise standards.
- Provides change management and training support for end users and maintains training documentation.
- Validates results through quality assurance testing.
- Develops and owns testing artifacts including QA scripts, regression test plans, and UAT cycles; facilitates UAT with business stakeholders.
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, with at least 2+ years supporting enterprise platforms in eCommerce, omnichannel, or digital operations (experience with PXM, PIM, DAM, OMS, or similar platforms a plus).
- Experience supporting integrations and data flows between enterprise systems and downstream channels or retail partners.
- Demonstrated experience with data modeling, taxonomy design, and cross-channel content or data syndication.
- Strong understanding of middleware and integration platforms (Boomi, MuleSoft, Informatica, or similar iPaaS) and how data flows between systems.
- Experience using Postman or similar tools to publish and consume APIs for integrations with third parties.
- Proficiency with project and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Lucidchart.
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies, backlog management, sprint planning, and SDLC governance processes.
- Experience facilitating stakeholder discussions, business process workshops, and solution review sessions.
- B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or another relevant field of study, or equivalent work experience.
Pay range for this position is $120,000– $145,000/year USD.
