Your impact

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, availability, performance, and operational excellence of OpenText's Application Quality Management (ALM/AQM) and Enterprise Performance Engineering (LRE) SaaS solutions. Working within a global team, you will support production customer environments, troubleshoot complex technical issues, drive service improvements, and help deliver a world-class SaaS experience.

This is a highly collaborative role that combines elements of Site Reliability Engineering, Operations, DevOps, and Product Support. You will work closely with Engineering, Product Management, Database Administrators, Network Engineers, Customer Support teams, and customers to resolve incidents, improve reliability, and drive operational best practices. Your contributions will directly support customers across EMEA and globally through a follow-the-sun support model.

What the role offers

• Support business-critical SaaS environments for OpenText's ALM/AQM and LRE product portfolio.
• Troubleshoot complex application, infrastructure, database, and platform issues while driving root cause analysis and service improvements.
• Collaborate with globally distributed teams across Europe, North America, and Latin America within a follow-the-sun operations model.
• Design, implement, and enhance monitoring, observability, automation, and reliability solutions.
• Lead operational excellence initiatives focused on improving scalability, efficiency, resilience, and customer experience.
• Mentor team members, promote best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement across engineering and operations teams.

What you need to succeed

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Production Operations, DevOps, Cloud Operations, or a similar technical support environment.
• Strong hands-on experience supporting enterprise applications and SaaS platforms in AWS cloud environments.
• Expert-level Linux administration skills and experience troubleshooting complex production issues.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker in cloud-native or containerized environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills across applications, infrastructure, networking, and databases.
• Experience working in customer-facing production environments with on-call responsibilities and a focus on operational excellence.
