Job Description:
Join King's Java Developer Talent Pool!
At King, we're always interested in connecting with talented Java Developers who enjoy solving complex engineering challenges at scale.
By joining our Talent Pool, you'll be considered for current and future opportunities across our engineering teams. If your background aligns with a role, a member of our Talent Acquisition team will get in touch to discuss it with you.
What we're typically looking for
Many of our Java engineering teams work on large-scale backend systems that support millions of players around the world. While every role is different, we often look for engineers with experience in:
- Strong Core Java development
- Concurrency and multithreading
- Building high-performance applications, distributed systems, or backend services
- Designing scalable, reliable, and maintainable software
- Working with high-traffic systems or products serving large user bases
- Writing clean, well-tested, production-quality code
While experience with frameworks such as Spring can certainly be useful, our teams generally place greater emphasis on a strong understanding of Core Java fundamentals rather than extensive reliance on framework-based development.
Many of our engineers have joined King from fintech, e-commerce, telecommunications, cloud infrastructure, SaaS, and other technology companies, though of course a gaming background is also highly valued. In short, if you've built complex backend systems at scale, we'd love to hear from you.
Why King?
At King, you'll have the opportunity to work on technology that reaches hundreds of millions of players worldwide. Our engineers solve challenging technical problems, collaborate with experienced teams, and build platforms and services that operate at massive scale.
Whether you're passionate about performance, distributed systems, backend architecture, developer tooling, or cloud technologies, King offers the opportunity to make a real impact.

Submit your profile to our Talent Pool!
Every profile submitted is reviewed by our Talent Acquisition team. If your skills and experience align with the types of Java opportunities we hire for, we'll add your profile to our Talent Pool and may reach out if a suitable opportunity becomes available.
If, after reviewing your application, we don't believe your background aligns with the types of Java opportunities we typically hire for, we'll let you know and won't be progressing your profile into our Talent Pool at this time. Of course, you're always welcome to apply for any other opportunities at King that match your skills and experience.
We appreciate your interest in King and look forward to connecting with you if the right opportunity arises.
