Requirements

Candidates must have at least 4 years of hands-on experience in QA and test automation, including building scalable frameworks. Additionally, 2 years of experience leading QA teams with proven delivery accountability is required.

Full description

  • Own quality end-to-end across all Sidelines products: web and mobile applications, backend services, cross-platform integrations within partner sites, tracking/attribution systems, and large-scale data flows.
  • Define and execute the QA strategy: regression coverage, release gates, risk management and production validation.
  • Design, build and evolve the automation infrastructure, expanding coverage across frontend, backend and system-level flows.
  • Work closely with Engineering and DevOps on CI/CD, deployments, environments and release stability.
  • Translate product requirements into structured, testable tasks and proactively identify gaps, edge cases and risks.
  • Lead and mentor the QA team while remaining highly hands-on (70%).
  • Make both technical and managerial decisions regarding quality standards, tooling and release readiness.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on QA experience across full product environments (frontend, backend, APIs and integrations).
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in test automation, including designing, building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks.
  • 2+ years leading QA teams with true ownership and delivery accountability.
  • Strong experience with modern automation tools (Playwright experience is a significant advantage).
  • High ownership mindset, structured thinking and the ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment.
