Full description
Paired is a global staffing and recruiting agency that specializes in pairing remote work with top-tier talent. We admire the importance of innovative social media strategies and are committed to connecting talented individuals with great companies that need their unique skills. Our mission is to provide great jobs to talented people, no matter where they are located.
About Our ClientDalstrong is one of the most talked-about knife brands of the last decade. We took century-old cutlery houses, combined aggressive design, obsessive product quality, and marketing that actually entertains, and built a roughly $30M direct-to-consumer company around it.
Our knives are sold through Amazon and Dalstrong.com, with a catalog backed by tens of thousands of five-star reviews. Beyond the core brand, we're also growing StudioForge, our licensed collectibles business featuring officially licensed blades from franchises such as DC, The Lord of the Rings, and Game of Thrones.
We're also building a precision knife manufacturing operation in Tampa, launching new American-made blade brands, expanding into retail for the first time, and operating an in-house video studio with a full-time creative production team.
The company is founder-led, fast-moving, and highly focused on AI-enabled marketing and production. Decisions happen in days rather than quarters, and team members own meaningful areas of the business rather than a small slice of one.
Why Leave a Good Job for This? This is an opportunity to join a company that is actively building and launching—not simply maintaining an existing marketing machine.
You'll have the opportunity to:
- Work across multiple brands and product lines under one roof.
- Help launch brands coming directly from a new American manufacturing operation.
- Play a central role in the company's first-ever retail expansion, alongside its established Amazon and DTC channels.
- Work alongside an in-house video studio with dedicated creative production talent.
- Operate in a company where AI is already used daily across creative concepting, research, image generation, and production.
- Own a critical operational function in a small, fast-moving, founder-led team where your work has visible impact.
About the RoleWe're looking for a Marketing Operations Project Manager to bring structure and accountability to Dalstrong's marketing operation.
You'll own the master marketing calendar, making sure campaigns, launches, product drops, and creative deadlines have clear owners and dates—and that the dates actually mean something.
You'll serve as the connective tissue between marketing, product, and Dalstrong Studios, ensuring that decisions become actionable tasks, creative requests arrive with the information needed to produce them, and launches stay aligned with inventory and product timelines.
What You'll Do• Own the single marketing calendar covering campaigns, launches, product drops, and creative deadlines across the marketing group.
- Coordinate marketing timelines with product availability and inventory.
- Attend marketing meetings and maintain a commitment log, ensuring every decision has an owner and deadline.
- Follow up on commitments and escalate missed deadlines when necessary.
- Act as the bridge between marketing and the in-house video studio, turning incoming requests into clear, production-ready briefs.
- Coordinate with the product project manager to keep product launches and marketing campaigns on the same timeline.
- Manage campaign concepts and deliverables through Asana, including the intake queue and shared creative resources.
- Help improve adoption of Asana across the marketing organization.
- Publish a weekly miss log showing what slipped, why it slipped, and the new date.
- Identify bottlenecks and continuously improve marketing workflows and delivery processes.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in Marketing Operations, Project Management, Creative Operations, Production Management, or a similar delivery-focused role.
- Experience personally owning a launch or campaign calendar across 3+ brands or product lines simultaneously.
- A track record of making sure work ships on time, rather than primarily managing client relationships or accounts.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing multiple deadlines at once.
- Strong experience with Asana, including building boards, intake forms, workflows, and automations.
- Ability to track and report on on-time delivery performance.
- Strong communication and follow-up skills, with the confidence to escalate issues when deadlines are at risk.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume marketing or creative environment.
- Strong written and spoken English.
Important
- This is a delivery and operations role, not a creative role and not an account management/client services role. We're looking for someone who enjoys owning timelines, creating structure, and making sure work gets delivered.
What Applies to All Three Dalstrong Roles
- Candidates can be based anywhere in Latin America.
- These are direct, internal roles at Dalstrong.
- Work on US Eastern hours.
- There is no client management, account work, or new business development involved.
- Candidates are expected to have already personally done the work required for their role; these are not entry-level training positions.
