You'll lead the charge in cultivating a data-driven culture, mentoring junior analysts while collaborating with data engineers and BI teams to deliver innovative solutions. Your challenges:
- Utilize data insights to achieve measurable outcomes: Optimize product features, improve customer experience, and enable operational process automation through data-driven decision making.
- Develop comprehensive data models: Cater for business analytics requirements while carefully considering data privacy, data accessibility, and data accuracy.
- Collaborate across data teams: Work collaboratively with data engineers and BI/Reporting Leads to fulfill business requirements ranging from data quality and data management to business intelligence and reporting.
- Provide actionable reporting solutions: Create dashboards and alerts, and present them effectively to stakeholders to enable informed decision-making.
- Standardize business terminologies: Align and standardize business terminologies across the company to enable well-defined data definitions for KPIs and metrics.
- Continuously optimize team processes: Constantly evaluate team processes and data solutions to achieve better efficiency aligning to company goals.
- Mentor and guide junior team members: Play the role of mentor for junior members of the team to uphold best data practices and foster a culture of analytical excellence.
Requirements:
- Bring 5+ years of experience in data analytics, with a solid background in statistics, mathematics, or engineering
- Possess in-depth technical proficiency with SQL (preferably PostgreSQL), programming languages (Python/R), and ETL/ELT frameworks for data cleansing, wrangling, and ingestion
- Demonstrate extensive experience with data modeling, data aggregation best practices, and designing scalable analytics solutions
- Have proven expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Google Looker Studio, etc.) and creating impactful dashboards that drive business decisions
- Excel at transforming complex data into clear insights and presenting them effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to ask the right questions, understand business needs, and align analytics solutions to strategic objectives
- Proactively identify problems and solutions while managing multiple competing priorities and projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Possess excellent communication and presentation skills with fluency in spoken and written English
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions) and modern cloud-based analytics infrastructure is highly valued
- Knowledge of financial products, digital marketing platforms, data science methodologies, and proficiency with AI/low-code data tools are strong advantages
