Strata-G Solutions is looking for a Program Finance Analyst to join our team. You will participate in the planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting of performance on projects of varying contract type, size, and complexity. The Program Finance Analyst is a key member of the program team and works directly with the Director Programs to help define project objectives and recommend actions to improve progress and performance. This person will have a significant interface with program/project managers, senior technical staff, as well as other functional organizations including contracts, finance, accounts receivable, and procurement.
This position is not remote.
In this role you will:
- Setup and track projects, budgets, schedules, and risks in Deltek Costpoint and Cobra software.
- Develop and manage Estimates at Completion (EACs) and generate Project Status Reports.
- Assist in development of resource forecasting reports.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost and status deliverables.
- Coordinate with Contract and Project Managers to develop and submit contract modifications.
- Assist in reconciling labor, material, and travel costs in preparation of invoices.
- Implement project lifecycle processes and engage in process improvement activities.
- Track and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Audit and validate timesheet entries for various projects.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in Deltek Costpoint, Time & Expense, and Cobra software.
- Demonstrated problem solving and in-depth analytical skills.
- Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
- Experience with developing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Attentive to details and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and three years of directly related experience, or Associates Degree with six years of directly related experience.
- Excellent computer skills, including MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong communications skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of project management tools and procedures.
- Ability to work in a team environment and interact professionally with leadership, customers, and associates.
