DATA ENGINEER SR PRINCIPAL

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As a Data Engineer Sr Principal, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the Department of State. You will play a crucial role in development and delivering impactful solutions to support the Diplomatic Security bureau of the State Department.

  • Designs, develops, maintains, and tests infrastructures for data generation as well as optimizing data flow and collection for cross functional teams.
  • Contributes to completion of milestones associated with specific projects.
  • Creates and maintains optimal data pipeline architecture.
  • Develops and conducts tests to ensure data solutions meet documented user requirements.
  • Analyzes IT environments to identify and assess critical capabilities and recommend solutions to problems of moderate scope and complexity.
  • Collaborates with data science team to transform data and integrate algorithms and models into automated processes.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
  • Works with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.

The likely salary range for this position is $153,000 - $207,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
