Application Developer - Java & Web Technologies

In this role, you will contribute to the delivery of enterprise application solutions that support critical business processes, with a strong focus on Java development and IBM Maximo-based platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to turn business needs into effective technical solutions, supporting projects across the full application lifecycle from design through deployment.

Responsibilities• Develop, customize, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and web technologies.

• Design, develop, and configure IBM Maximo applications and business processes.
• Build and customize Maximo workflows, including actions, assignments, and escalations.
• Perform Maximo configuration, customization, and development based on business requirements.
• Develop and maintain Java-based components and integrations with external systems.
• Work with JSP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.
• Troubleshoot application issues and deliver technical solutions.
• Participate in requirements analysis, technical design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with business analysts, technical teams, and stakeholders to deliver solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation and support production deployments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant technical education.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in Java and web application development.
• Hands-on experience with IBM Maximo development, customization, workflow development, and configuration.
• Experience with web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSP.
• Experience with REST or SOAP APIs, system integrations, SQL, and relational databases.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
• Experience working closely with business analysts, technical teams, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, support implementation and troubleshooting, and clearly communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Eligibility to work in Egypt.

Preferred Qualifications• Experience with IBM Maximo Integration Framework (MIF).

• Experience with Maximo Application Suite (MAS) and Maximo integrations.
• Direct client-facing experience.
