Summary of Position
The PMO Manager’s responsibilities include coordination with a cross-functional project team and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and within scope. The PMO Manager oversees all aspects of assigned projects which includes: creating a detail project plan to meet the project’s objectives, leading the project team, overseeing the successful execution of each phase of the project, monitoring progress to ensure timely completion, effectively managing risks and issues that may impact the project, tracking expenses and managing the budget, and reporting on project progress to the executive team. This position assists with PMO process improvements, supports the projects of team members, and pursues ongoing personal development opportunities. PMO Managers are expected to manage multiple projects at a time.
Essential Job Requirements
- Develops detailed project plans that outline high level milestones and deliverables as well as critical detail tasks for trackability and reporting required by contract guidelines
- Documents and incorporates contract requirements relevant to federal and state regulations in project plan
- Coordinates cross-discipline team members, including vendors, to ensure all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules
- Performs risk management to minimize potential risks
- Ensures all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget
- Provides real-time, comprehensive prioritized views of all projects through SharePoint (internal and external views) and project scheduling tools
- Maintains confidentiality and security of project, as well as proprietary and confidential materials
- Participates in the development of projects requiring cross-departmental coordination as it relates to new project implementations
- Produces and distributes regular project status updates
- Ensures the quality and timeliness of project delivery
- Meets with project team members to identify and resolve issues
- Submits project deliverables and ensures they adhere to quality standards
- Prepares status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information
- Facilitates change requests to ensure all parties are informed of the impact on scope, schedule, and budget when variance to the baseline is required
- Obtains customer acceptance of project deliverables
- Manages customer satisfaction within the project transition period
- Regular and timely attendance

Required Education
Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of related experience preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
Required Experience
- Professional experience as a Project Manager or Project Analyst
- Strong understanding of both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies
- Professional experience working with various software applications (specifically Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Project & Power BI)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferred
Work Arrangement
This is an onsite position, physically located at our office in Ridgeland, Mississippi.
