This is a senior-level architecture role focused on designing secure, scalable, and resilient software solutions in a dynamic technology environment. You will shape architectural patterns and technical strategies while ensuring solutions meet demanding performance, security, and maintainability standards. The role combines hands-on technical expertise with architectural leadership, code quality, testing, and documentation. You will translate complex business requirements into clear technical specifications and pragmatic implementation strategies. Your work will span modern .NET development, distributed architectures, containers, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams, applying strong analytical thinking to solve complex technical challenges. Accountabilities
- Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure software architectures aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Select appropriate architectural patterns, scalability strategies, security approaches, and implementation technologies for complex solutions.
- Define and promote software engineering best practices, including SOLID, Clean Code, design patterns, and maintainable architecture.
- Ensure high standards of code quality by supporting relevant automated testing practices and encouraging TDD/BDD where appropriate.
- Design distributed solutions using architectural approaches such as microservices and message-based or queue-driven systems.
- Create and maintain clear architecture documentation, diagrams, technical specifications, and centralized sources of architectural information.
- Translate business requirements into practical technical designs and guide teams through implementation decisions.
- Contribute to containerization, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, cost estimation, and reliable software delivery practices.
- Collaborate effectively with engineering teams and stakeholders, providing technical guidance and resolving complex problems.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and continuously identify opportunities to improve architecture, development practices, and delivery processes.
Requirements
- Senior or specialist-level experience in software architecture and the design of scalable, resilient, and secure applications.
- Deep knowledge of C# and .NET, with strong experience applying software engineering and object-oriented design principles.
- Solid understanding of SOLID, Clean Code, design patterns, and modern architectural principles.
- Experience designing or implementing microservices, messaging systems, queues, and other distributed application patterns.
- Strong knowledge of automated testing, TDD/BDD, and quality-focused software development practices.
- Experience with information security principles and the ability to incorporate security into software architecture and implementation.
- Practical experience with Git, Docker, Docker Compose, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to break down and solve complex technical challenges.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Strong documentation skills and the ability to communicate architecture clearly through technical documents and diagrams.
- Proactive, results-oriented, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning and technology evolution.
- Experience with cost estimation and designing efficient, production-ready solutions is a plus.
