Accountabilities: The professional will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining back-end solutions while collaborating with technical teams to ensure quality, scalability, and business alignment. Key responsibilities include:

• Participating actively in development teams by reviewing, improving, and validating code implementations.

• Creating and maintaining web services and back-end applications using Java.

• Writing efficient, reusable, and maintainable code following engineering best practices.

• Collaborating with UX, back-end, and front-end teams to define and implement technical solutions.

• Supporting technical refinement of user stories and evaluating technical feasibility.

• Designing solutions to address complex challenges and improve system performance.

• Developing and maintaining integrations and services within the Genesys Cloud ecosystem.

• Applying agile methodologies and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Collaborating on solutions involving APIs, microservices, and messaging architectures.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate has strong back-end development experience, knowledge of Java ecosystems, and the ability to work collaboratively in agile teams. Required qualifications include:

• Experience with Java programming and back-end application development.

• Knowledge of the Spring ecosystem.

• Experience developing IVR flows using the Genesys platform.

• Knowledge of Genesys Cloud API structures and integrations.

• Experience with web services and general API concepts.

• Familiarity with DevOps tools and software delivery practices.

• Knowledge of databases and data management concepts.

• Understanding of basic networking concepts.

• Experience with agile methodologies, preferably Scrum.

• Ability to analyze problems and propose effective technical solutions.

• Experience with microservices architecture and messaging tools such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
