Full description

The BioPharma Reporting & Specialty Analytics engineer is a software engineering craftsman that is a full-stack engineer that is an expert at working in all layers of an application.  They work in an agile development environment to deliver reporting & insights to transform healthcare into a safer and more cost-effective industry. 

Responsibilities

  • Building analytic products from clinical data sets that is sourced from multiple systems, including Electronical Medical Record Systems (EMR) including labs, Practice Management Systems (PMS), and Pharmacy Dispensing Systems (PDS).
  • Providing direct value to practices and pharmaceutical companies by building reports and dashboards to help them drive efficacy and usage of clinical products
  • Enriching data elements from other reference source systems to enhance our analytic offerings
  • Develop and define new products to enable pharmaceutical manufacturers’ key data initiatives
  • Support and build Sales enablement tools to provide feasibility requests to manufacturers
  • Daily operations and support

Qualifications

  • 4-8 years of experience, preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, a good work ethic and sense of humor
  • 3+ years of software development experience.
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages (OOP, Declarative, Functional)
  • Python experience is required
  • SSIS experience is preferred
  • Airflow experience is desired
  • Data visualization experience with Tableau is desired
  • Must have SQL experience with relational databases, MS SQL preferred
  • Comfortable working with open-source technologies
  • Experience with healthcare data is preferred
  • Experience building & deployment pipelines to support CI/CD; ArgoCD, Harbor, Liquibase
  • Experience with GCP is preferred; GKE Kubernetes

Anticipated salary range: $94,900 - $135,600
