Job & Division Summary:
The IT Business Analyst IV – Oracle Finance serves as a senior SME supporting Oracle EBS Finance modules including AR, AP, GL, Projects, and Fixed Assets. This role is critical to delivering transformation initiatives such as Oracle R12 Implementations/Upgrades, Salesforce/Siebel transformations, and integrations while ensuring production stability, process standardization, and scalability across global Finance operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis and solution design for Oracle Finance modules (AR, AP, GL, Projects, Costing)
- Translate business requirements into functional/technical specifications including RICE objects and integrations
- Support and validate data migration , including reconciliation and cutover activities
- Resolve complex production issues across Finance modules and act as escalation point
- Partner with Finance stakeholders to optimize business processes and improve automation
- Provide oversight and mentoring to junior analysts and offshore resources
- Support integrations with Siebel/Salesforce, Basware, Rimilia/Blackline, Cybersource, etc.
- Ensure SOX/SOD compliance, audit readiness, and governance
Mandatory Requirements
- 10+ years experience with Oracle EBS Finance modules
- Strong experience with ERP implementations, data migration, and integrations
- Expertise in troubleshooting Oracle Finance transactional and accounting issues
- Strong understanding of Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Project Accounting processes
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Finance, or related field

- ERP Functional Expertise – Oracle Finance (Advanced/Expert)
Deep understanding of Oracle EBS Finance modules and end-to-end process flows (O2C, P2P, R2R, Project Accounting)
- Decision Making & Stakeholder Influence (Expert)
Ability to drive decisions across Finance and IT teams, balancing business needs, system constraints, and compliance requirements
- Integration & Data Flow Understanding (Advanced)
Experience working with upstream/downstream systems (banking, invoicing, payment platforms) and ensuring end-to-end process integrity
- Process Governance & Compliance (Advanced)
Strong knowledge of SOX/SOD controls, audit requirements, and governance frameworks within Finance IT environments
- Communication & Cross-Functional Collaboration (Advanced)
Ability to translate technical solutions into business terms and collaborate across global Finance, IT, and vendor teams
- Mentorship & Knowledge Transfer (Advanced)
Proven ability to coach junior analysts and ensure continuity of critical Finance IT knowledge amid team transitions
- Experience with Oracle R12 migration and/or version upgrades
- Experience with bank integrations and e-invoicing
- SQL, WebMethods, or reporting tool exposure
- Experience supporting SOX/SOD compliance
- Global/offshore delivery experience
