Position Summary

Responsible for gathering, validating, and analyzing quantitative data and qualitative feedback to provide timely reporting, performance metrics, and actionable recommendations that support leadership decision-making and operational effectiveness across the Credit Union.

This position plays a critical role in connecting data, feedback, and business processes to provide a holistic understanding of performance drivers, enabling leadership to address root causes—not just symptoms—of organizational challenges.

Essential Functions

  • Integrate quantitative data (business intelligence, dashboards, operational metrics) with qualitative insights (member and employee feedback, surveys, and research) to analyze organizational performance and identify trends, opportunities, and areas of improvement.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise dashboards and reporting solutions to support executive leadership and business units.
  • Administer member feedback tools and analyze survey, sentiment, and journey data to provide reporting, analysis, and recommendations to business units and leadership.
  • Analyze operational, member, and organizational data to identify trends, answer business questions, and provide reporting and recommendations that support informed decision-making.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and root causes impacting member behavior, satisfaction, and operational performance.
  • Partner with departments including Retail, Lending, Marketing, Compliance, IT, and Accounting to understand business needs and provide information that supports informed decision-making.
  • Design and implement data models, segmentation strategies, and performance tracking methodologies.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis and validate data to ensure reporting accuracy and integrity.
  • Communicate professionally and in a timely manner with members and staff to positively resolve issues and conflicts.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop executive-level presentations and storytelling narratives that clearly communicate analytical findings and recommended actions.
  • Maintain documentation for data sources, reporting methodologies, and analytical processes.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, analytics tools, and member experience best practices.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Travel and time spent outside office may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting platforms required.
  • Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI platform experience
  • Experience working with SQL

Preferred Education and Experience

  • At least one year of Symitar Core System experience.
  • Knowledge of Symitar PowerOn Programming concepts
  • Experience working in a financial institution, preferably a Credit Union.

  • Knowledge of the credit union and competitor's products and services, pricing, delivery mechanisms, and marketing approaches.
  • Strive for ongoing education / personal development with CU-specific systems to better familiarize and assist WyHy in platform utilization.
  • Basic mathematical skills.

Physical Requirements

  • While performing the essential duties of the position, the employee may be required to stand, sit, walk, stoop, kneel, talk, see and hear. The nature of this position requires fine motor skills and the ability to work on equipment with hands, physical mobility and the ability to occasionally lift and/or move a maximum of 50 pounds. This position may include prolonged periods of time working on a computer and looking at a monitor screen.
  • This position is on site.

Position Requirements

  • While core operating hours for the Credit Union are 8 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Saturday; extended hours and/or weekends may be required.
  • Requirement to be bonded. Successful background check including personal credit report, driving and criminal record.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Valid driver’s license.
