ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Salesforce Platform Administration (Financial Services Cloud)

  • Administer the day-to-day Salesforce FSC environment: users, profiles, roles, permission sets, security, page layouts, record types, and validation rules
  • Configure and maintain FSC-specific capabilities to support retail, lending, and relationship-banking workflows
  • Evaluate, test, and deploy Salesforce releases and AppExchange tools; perform regular system audits and prepare for upgrades
  • Maintain data integrity through routine audits, deduplication, and data-quality monitoring

Analytics, Reporting, and Marketing Automation

  • Design and maintain reports and dashboards in Analytics Studio to track KPIs and support executive and branch-level decision-making
  • Administer Marketing Cloud Account Engagement for marketing automation—managing lead flows, campaigns, scoring, and alignment between marketing and CRM data
  • Ensure clean, accurate CRM data feeds the Bank’s broader Business Intelligence and executive reporting

Platform Backup and Resiliency

  • Administer and maintain the Bank’s Salesforce backup and recovery solution; monitor backup jobs, verify data recoverability, and perform periodic restore testing
  • Ensure backup and retention practices align with the Bank’s business continuity, disaster-recovery, and regulatory requirements

Integrations and Data Movement

  • Serve as the administrator and steward for key integrations between Salesforce and the Bank’s core banking, loan origination, mortgage, digital banking, and telephony platforms
  • Manage current data-load processes, monitor and resolve data-load errors, and maintain documented procedures

Business Analysis and Solution Design

  • Partner with business units (Retail, Lending, Marketing, Risk/BSA, IT) to gather, analyze, and document requirements and translate them into scalable solutions
  • Perform gap analysis to determine configuration vs. light code vs. third-party tools; create process flow diagrams, data dictionaries, and user stories with acceptance criteria
  • Build and enhance declarative automation (Flows, validation rules); read and understand basic Apex and SOQL/SOSL to collaborate on more complex solutions
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and manage change and adoption

Compliance, Security, and Support

  • Apply a security-first, least-privilege approach to protect customer information in a regulated banking environment
  • Maintain auditability, documentation, and retention practices aligned to regulatory requirements; support vendor due-diligence activities
  • Provide user support and training; build and champion a super-user network to drive adoption

REQUIREMENTS

  • Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (equivalent experience considered)
  • 2+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience, ideally in banking or financial services
  • Proficient with report writing and dashboards creation (Analytics Studio or comparable) and administering marketing automation (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement or comparable)
  • Working knowledge managing data loads/integrations and troubleshooting data-quality issues
  • Demonstrated business-analysis skills: requirements gathering, process mapping, and UAT
  • Excellent communication skills, able to translate between business and technical audiences
  • Extremely organized, ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt to change
  • High degree of initiative, dependability, and ability to work independently
  • Must be willing and able to report to Headquarters in Tewksbury five full days a week

Preferred

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC)
  • Familiarity administering a Salesforce backup/recovery solution (e.g., OwnBackup or comparable)
  • Exposure with cloud data platforms and building/integrating data via APIs
  • Ability to read basic Apex/Visualforce and use SOQL/SOSL
  • Strong data skills: intermediate-to-advanced Excel and working knowledge of SQL
  • Knowledge of banking regulations, data privacy, and compliance practices

SALARY RANGE

The annual base salary range for this position is $95,000 to $115,000. This range reflects the Bank’s good faith estimate for this role at the time of posting. The Bank may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors, such as but not limited to, relevant education, experience, and skills.
