About the Job:
We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable automation frameworks. You will work closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality delivery of modern web, API, and enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will have strong automation framework development skills using Java and Python, hands-on experience with Selenium, and solid expertise in API test automation, with a quality-first mindset and a strong understanding of CI/CD-driven testing practices.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days in office)
Position Responsibilities:
- Understanding project documents, business demands, and
product objectives to create and execute test cases.
- Setting up, maintaining, and performing on Test
Automation frameworks.
- Work on end to end automation, and create framework
from scratch where required
- Working with deployments teams, resolving level issues
for systems, coordinating on product design, and offering inputs on the testability of functional elements and product designs.
- Setting up, maintaining, and performing test automation
frameworks on multiple application platforms, such as Desktop, and Web, and building test scenarios and acceptance tests.
- Conducts end to end testing including testing of
interfaces & APIs and report results.
- Report, test and close defects.
- Document the procedures, standards, tech-stack, test
architecture, framework and best practices.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Software testing experience within Software
Development project team
- 3+ years of Test Automation experience with Selenium /
webdriver.io / REST Assured/Postman or similar tools
- Hands on experience with Mobile Automation Testing using Appium
- Hands on experience with coding languages like Java,
JavaScript/TypeScript, , Python
- Strong experience working on end to end automation and
building framework from scratch
- Hands on with automation frameworks like Cucumber
/Behaviour Driven Development/TDD/TestNG Test Case Development skills and experience with QA methodologies
- Experience working with CI\CD pipeline and defect
management tools.
- Experience with different types of Testing (Manual,
Front end, Web testing, UI, Regression, Functional, SIT, UAT)
- Strong Communications Skills
Benefits
Salary Range: $80,000 to $85,000 CAD/ year
The final compensation offered will depend on local market conditions and geographic location, as well as job-related factors such as the candidate’s knowledge, skills, qualifications, relevant experience, and education/training. Compensation may also include additional components such as benefits, and/or other incentives, where applicable.
