The The Corporate & Investment Bank F&BM Program Management team is responsible for the oversight and delivery of multiple projects within the Corporate Investment Bank impacting Finance & Business Management. This role sits within the Corporate & Investment Bank Finance & Business Management (F&BM) team, supporting delivery of key regulatory initiatives under the BCBS 239 program. This Program team is responsible for end-to-end project management and governance of the BCBS 239 implementation plan. The regulatory objective of BCBS 239 is to ensure that banks establish robust capabilities for risk data aggregation and risk reporting.
As an Associate in the Program Management team, you will play a central role in driving execution, tracking milestones, and enabling governance across a complex, cross-functional landscape. You will be working within a team that partners with the BCBS 239 Program Owner and respective Workstream Leads across multiple teams, including Corporate Technology, Corporate & Investment Bank Technology, Risk, Finance, CDAO, Operations, Outsourcing, Control Management and JPMSE Data Governance. This is a high-visibility opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders contributing to a firmwide priority program with direct regulatory engagement.
Job Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end delivery of BCBS 239 program milestones, including planning, tracking, and status reporting
- Maintain and enhance program artefacts (e.g. Multi-Year Plan (MYP), RAID logs, Governance packs)
- Lead and execute the Multi-Year Plan (MYP) refresh, validate deliverables, and consolidate materials for regulatory submission
- Partner with stakeholders, providing guidance and analysis, helping identify and escalate issues, risks and dependencies and facilitating communication across teams
- Track progress against key deliverables, identifying risks and ensuring appropriate escalation
- Put in place the necessary Minimum Control Point (MCP) project artifacts; Statement of Work, Roles & responsibilities, Governance, Communications Plan for a controlled program delivery
- Coordinate Working Group and Program Control Committee Meetings including agenda setting, preparation of materials, minute capture, and allocation of clear action ownership where required
- Support preparation of senior governance materials (e.g., Steer Co, Executive forums, Regulatory submissions etc.)
- Maintain an appropriate governance structure, build and maintain working relationships with stakeholders in the different businesses our team can support (e.g., Markets, Private Bank, Asset Management) and functions (e.g., Finance, Operations, Risk, CDAO, Legal etc.)
- Facilitate structured follow-ups and action tracking from governance forums
- Contribute to embedding validation, control, and data quality considerations into program delivery
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Project management experience, or similar
- Experience in program delivery, PMO, or governance within Financial Services
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.) and PowerPoint
- Excellent multitasking and prioritizing skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across business and technology teams
- Ability to articulate complex issues concisely and communicate effectively and comfortably
- Strong analytical, data management and critical thinking skills
- Comfortable working in a structured, regulatory, and deadline-driven environment
- Proactive mindset with ability to identify gaps and drive follow-up actions
- Strong ownership mindset with a focus on delivery and follow-through
- Team player with the ability to coordinate and build relationships across multiple stakeholders
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Innovation tools and processes like Monday.com, Jira, Alteryx and Tableau
- Knowledge of Corporate and Investment Bank businesses and high-level front-to-back transaction flow
- Basic knowledge of securities and derivative products
- Knowledge of Finance, Risk, Operations, Regulatory Reporting, and Derivatives Financial Reform
