Full Stack Software Engineer - .NET/C# and React

Company Description

An enterprise client is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join its engineering organization and help build and modernize a business-critical product catalog platform. The Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer will work across backend services, React frontend applications, and relational data layers while taking ownership of features throughout the full software development lifecycle.

Job Description

• Work with a lean, senior engineering team responsible for building and modernizing a business-critical product catalog platform.
• Design, develop and implement scalable full-stack software solutions from specification through deployment and production support.
• Build backend services, REST APIs, business logic, data models, and React-based user interfaces.
• Participate in the modernization of the existing catalog platform and contribute to the development of the new technology stack.
• Use AI-driven software development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor as an integral part of the daily development workflow.
• Leverage AI-assisted tooling for code generation, specification-to-code implementation, automated test creation, and other software development activities.
• Write and maintain automated tests and ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in peer code reviews and maintain high standards for code quality, architecture, and engineering practices.
• Work closely with Product and Design teams to refine requirements and technical specifications.
• Contribute to shared engineering standards, developer tooling, and software development lifecycle improvements.
• Implement logging, monitoring, metrics, and alerting for production services.
• Take ownership of features and services from development through deployment, observability, maintenance, and production support.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and troubleshoot production issues for services owned by the team.
• Regular practice of CI/CD and continuous improvement of development processes.
• Document technical decisions, architecture, and implementation details as required.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and contribute to the technical direction of the team.

 

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with the ability to work independently and drive technical decisions.
• Strong backend development experience with one or more of the following: C#/.NET, Go, Python, or Java. C#/.NET is the primary technology.
• Strong experience with React or another modern frontend framework.
• Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL and relational database concepts.
• Strong knowledge and experience with REST APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted software development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor to deliver production software.
• Full-stack development experience with the ability to work across backend, frontend, and database layers.
• Experience owning software features end-to-end, including requirements, development, testing, deployment, observability, and production support.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, automated testing, code review, and CI/CD practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in production environments.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Product, Design, and other engineering teams.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
