Overview of the role:

Saputo Dairy Products Canada is seeking an Assistant Product Manager for an existing opportunity within our organization. The Assistant Product Manager supports the strategic and operational execution of a product portfolio. Working closely with the Product Manager, this role coordinates cross-functional projects, assists in product launches, and contributes to portfolio performance analysis and improvement initiatives.

How you will make contributions that matter:

  • Manage a wide range of product-related projects with a multidisciplinary team (Sales, R&D, Quality Assurance, Procurement, Operations, Logistics, etc.) with support from Product Manager
  • Contribute to the development and execution of product launch plans, from business case to market introduction
  • Analyze product portfolio performance across categories, identify opportunities for optimization, and support strategic decision-making with actionable insights
  • Manage the entry and maintenance of product-related data in internal as well as external database systems
  • Act as a point of contact for operational product-related inquiries and support issue resolution.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure that product objectives are translated into Marketing initiatives
  • Prepare various presentations and other communications targeting internal and external stakeholders
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA or graduate studies is an asset)
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in product management, brand management, or project management, preferably in the food or FMCG industry
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is essential, both spoken and written
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, solution-oriented and good team player
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and influencing without direct authority
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with data management systems

As part of their duties, the position holder will be required to communicate and collaborate in English and French, both orally and in writing, with colleagues or other stakeholders located in Québec, elsewhere in Canada, or across North America.

Salary: $68 630 - $90 080

*Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training.
