Delivery Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of technology projects across business and technical teams. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in software/application delivery, Agile execution, project planning, stakeholder management, risk management, and coordination of cross-functional and distributed teams.

The Delivery Manager will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and according to quality expectations while maintaining clear visibility into milestones, risks, dependencies, and overall project health.

 Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of technology projects from planning through implementation, release, and post-production support.

• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, resource plans, and delivery roadmaps.

• Coordinate Product Owners, Business Analysts, Engineering, Data, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.

• Lead Agile/Scrum activities including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Track scope, timelines, deliverables, risks, issues, dependencies, and action items through structured RAID management.

• Identify delivery risks and bottlenecks, establish mitigation plans, and escalate critical issues when required.

• Manage multiple concurrent workstreams and coordinate dependencies across teams.

• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to clarify requirements, priorities, acceptance criteria, and delivery expectations.

• Monitor sprint and release progress against committed milestones and delivery targets.

• Coordinate UAT, defect resolution, release readiness, deployment, and production transition.

• Manage change requests and assess their impact on scope, schedule, resources, and dependencies.

• Prepare project status reports covering progress, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions required.

• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, project reviews, steering discussions, and executive status updates.

• Coordinate onshore/offshore teams and maintain accountability for project deliverables.

• Establish delivery KPIs and dashboards to provide visibility into project health and performance.

• Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes, governance, reporting, and Agile practices.

 Required Qualifications 

• 7+ years of IT experience, with strong experience in project, program, or delivery management.

• Proven experience managing end-to-end software/application delivery projects.

• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.

• Experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple parallel workstreams.

• Strong knowledge of project planning, risk management, dependency management, resource coordination, and stakeholder management.

• Experience coordinating distributed onshore/offshore delivery teams.

• Understanding of requirements, user stories, UAT, release management, and production deployment.

• Strong leadership, communication, facilitation, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.

 Tools & Technologies 

• Project & Delivery: Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Monday.com

• Cloud & Data: Azure Cloud, Databricks, SQL, ETL/Data Pipelines

• Reporting: Power BI, Excel, KPI Dashboards

• Process & Documentation: Lucid/Lucidchart, ARIS BPM, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams

Preferred

PMP, CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP, or similar certification. Experience delivering cloud, data, analytics, integration, or enterprise application projects is preferred.
