Job Description

The Position

The Product Analyst for Mobile Messaging will support the strategy, rollout, and optimization of mobile messaging capabilities, with an initial focus on WhatsApp and the potential to scale to additional providers such as Line and SMS. This role will be responsible for supporting new market launches, analyzing market demand and adoption, generating insights to improve performance, and enabling optimization of mobile messaging usage across markets.

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders across marketing, product, operations, and analytics to ensure effective implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement of mobile messaging initiatives. This role will also support onboarding activities and knowledge transfer to market teams and other stakeholders.

What will you do?

  • Support the rollout of mobile messaging solutions into new markets, beginning with WhatsApp and expanding to other providers as required.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities for local and regional stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver knowledge transfer materials and sessions to ensure successful adoption and operational readiness.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure market launch requirements, dependencies, and timelines are met.
  • Analyze market demand, readiness, and opportunity for mobile messaging capabilities.
  • Assess customer and market trends to inform rollout prioritization and channel strategy.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and emerging developments in mobile messaging and digital engagement.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to support market expansion and business decision-making.
  • Track and analyze mobile messaging performance across markets and use cases.
  • Evaluate key metrics including adoption, engagement, conversion, retention, and operational effectiveness.
  • Translate data into actionable insights to improve market usage and optimize campaign performance.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance customer experience, operational efficiency, and channel effectiveness.
  • Partner with marketing, digital, product, and operational teams to support execution and continuous improvement.
  • Communicate findings, recommendations, and progress updates to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Contribute to documentation, reporting, and governance processes related to mobile messaging.
  • Act as a knowledgeable point of contact for mobile messaging best practices within an omnichannel marketing environment.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in product analysis, digital marketing, marketing operations, customer engagement, or related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of omnichannel marketing and digital marketing principles.
  • Experience working with mobile messaging or comparable customer communication channels preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and develop recommendations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to work across cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Experience supporting onboarding, training, or knowledge transfer activities.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

 

Nice to have

  • Experience with WhatsApp Business, Line, SMS, or other mobile messaging platforms.
  • Familiarity with campaign performance analysis, customer journey optimization, or channel activation.
  • Experience in a global or regional organization supporting multiple markets.
  • Knowledge of marketing technology platforms, CRM systems, or digital engagement tools.
  • Exposure to launch planning, operational readiness, or change management activities.
