React Lead

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced React Lead to drive frontend architecture, technical excellence, and delivery for modern web applications. This role will lead a team of frontend engineers, collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure the development of scalable, high-performing, and maintainable React-based solutions that support business objectives

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the Frontend Technical Lead, driving architecture decisions, development standards, and best practices across React applications.
• Participate in solution design and technical planning, collaborating with business and backend teams to define scalable frontend approaches.
• Review UI/UX designs to assess technical feasibility, performance considerations, and maintainability.
• Lead the design and development of responsive, user-centric web applications using React.js and TypeScript.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and coaching to frontend developers, fostering engineering excellence within the team.
• Establish and enforce coding standards through regular code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee application performance optimization, leveraging techniques such as lazy loading, memoization, and code splitting.
• Partner with DevOps teams to support CI/CD implementation, release readiness, and deployment best practices.
• Ensure code quality and stability through comprehensive unit and integration testing.
• Manage technical risks, delivery timelines, and frontend release activities to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues and defects.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience designing and developing enterprise-scale web applications using React.js.
• Advanced knowledge of React concepts, including Hooks, Context API, Suspense, and component lifecycle management.
• Proven experience implementing application state management using Redux or similar frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience writing and maintaining unit and integration tests using Jest and React Testing Library.
• Expertise in frontend performance optimization and application scalability.
• Experience with source control management using Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Prior experience leading frontend teams and driving technical decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native application development.
• Exposure to Java-based technologies and enterprise backend integrations.
• Familiarity with Webpack, Babel, and modern frontend build and deployment processes.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and responsive design best practices.
