Full description

A-lehdet Group is a Finnish content and ecommerce group and family-owned business that brings together high-quality content, strong brands and data-driven marketing. We are pioneers in media content and digital commerce, reaching audiences through multiple channels – from magazines to podcasts and online media. A-lehdet's areas of expertise include Food & Drink, Interior & Renovation, Current affairs & Sports, as well as Knitting & Crafts that includes Laine Publishing, an international knitting community. Our values are courage, joy, cooperation, and ambition.

We’re looking for a Growth Product Manager for A-lehdet Oy to drive the commercial success, launch, and continued development of our new international digital service within the area of Knitting & Crafts. The role brings together business, product, marketing, and partnerships: you’ll make sure the service evolves to meet our audience’s needs, attracts users to the platform, and grows into a profitable, international digital business. You’ll work as part of a four-person business development team. This is a newly created role, and it will be shaped around the person we hire.

As Growth Product Manager, you will be responsible for

  • Coordinating the product roadmap from a growth perspective and steering development to match audience needs
  • Shaping the Web-to-App funnel, optimizing paywalls, and removing friction from the purchase path
  • Defining and optimizing user activation, using data to drive decisions and prioritization
  • Leading the Day 0 experience: making sure new users understand our value promise within 60 seconds
  • Planning and coordinating marketing and sales: paid advertising, events, organic growth, and word-of-mouth
  • Playing a hands-on role in opening new markets, including planning launch
  • Working closely with business development team, marketing and our outsourced technical development team

We’re looking for someone with

  • A strong commercial mindset and experience developing and launching digital products, platform-based business or mobile apps — you understand what activation, retention, and monetization mean in practice
  • Product ownership and project management skills
  • Knowledge of growth marketing and subscription business models
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, app stores (ASO), and influencer collaborations
  • The ability to lead the bigger picture in a hands-on, results-driven way
  • A genuine interest in building something new, without fear of change
  • The ability to collaborate seamlessly with sales, marketing, and technology teams
  • The ability to pick up new technologies independently — comfortable writing scripts, working with APIs, and using AI tools to solve real problems
  • Experience owning and optimizing funnels end to end, and a feel for metrics such as downloads, ARR, LTV, CAC, and churn
  • Fluency in English and conversational Finnish are required
  • A business degree e.g. MSc in Economics, BBA, design or equivalent
  • An interest in knitting, sewing and/or crafts is considered an advantage

What we offer

  • An independent and varied role with room to develop and build something new
  • Office in beautiful surroundings in Kulosaari, with gym and sauna, restaurant, good transport links — a mix of on-site and remote work
  • A creative, low-hierarchy working environment with a skilled, inspiring, and caring team

Interested? Please submit your CV and application by 23rd of August 2026.
