Pre-Sales Engineer (m/f/d)

Your mission

The Pre-Sales Engineer will play a crucial role in the technical processing of requests for proposals and tenders, ensuring the successful planning and execution of complex international installation projects. This position requires a technically skilled individual with strong project management capabilities and excellent communication and coordination skills, capable of leading a team through the tendering phase and working closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.   Key responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring that all tender and RFP responses are technically compliant with the client requirements.
• Technical processing of requests for proposals and tenders regarding project planning and execution of complex and demanding international installation projects.
• Management and coordination of the technical planning team during the tendering phase.
• Independent design and implementation planning of media and lighting installations.
• Review and verification of planning documents provided by clients.
• Support in the preparation of layout and detail plans, renderings, sketches block diagrams and other technical documentation for the offers.
• Preparation of design reports and technical risk analyses.
• Preparation of preliminary schedules and construction schedules. 
• Conducting internal and external project meetings.
• Technical consulting and coordination with clients.
• Liaison and close coordination with our suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams such as Design & Engineering, Commercial, Project Management, and Procurement.

Your profile

• Degree and/or proven experience in Audio-Visual Engineering.
• Several years of experience in pre-sales engineering or technical project management within AV / lighting installations is a must.
• Strong understanding of technical project planning, execution and technical documentation.  
• Solid knowledge about the commercial and technical sides of the AVL industry in the field of permanent/semi-permanent installations in cultural/ entertainment sector, i.e., museums, exhibitions, experience centers and other innovative multimedia projects.   
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written). 
• Experience in technical consulting and coordination with clients, ensuring their requirements are met while providing expert guidance.  
• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to problem-solving and team management.  
• Comfortable working in fast-paced and dynamic environments, especially on international projects that may require cross-cultural communication.
