Job Description
The PMO Manager is responsible for establishing and governing the regional Project Management Office for Delta’s Service organization across Europe, Middle East & Africa. The role ensures consistent project delivery excellence, portfolio visibility, and operational discipline across all service‑related projects.
This position manages a multi‑layered organization of Project Managers, Site Managers, and I&C Engineers, ensuring high‑quality execution of installation, commissioning, and service projects. The role reports directly to the EMEA Service Director and is a key member of the regional leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full EMEA service project portfolio, ensuring delivery against scope, budget, timelines, and quality standards.
- Lead and develop a structured organization of Project Managers, Site Managers, and I&C Engineers, including country‑level management layers.
- Build capability, technical competence, and leadership strength across the delivery organization.
- Deliver accurate, timely reporting on project status, risks, financials, and resource utilization.
- Standardize tendering, subcontractor management, and procurement processes for project delivery.
- Oversee structured handover processes from Sales to Delivery and from Delivery to Service Operations.
- Ensure all projects follow Delta’s safety, compliance, and quality requirements.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience leading PMO or project delivery organizations in multi‑country, matrix environments.
- Proven leadership of technical delivery teams (Project Managers, Site Managers, I&C Engineers).
- Strong understanding of installation, commissioning, and service project lifecycles.
- Demonstrated ability to implement governance frameworks and drive operational discipline.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience in power electronics, data center infrastructure, industrial automation, or related technology sectors.
- Advanced degree (MBA, MSc Project Management or Engineering).
