We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join an international organization and work with distributed engineering teams on critical business systems.
Responsibilities
- Own delivery execution and support alignment with the technology roadmap.
- Drive sustainable, predictable, and high-quality software delivery.
- Act as line manager for engineers, including coaching, feedback, staffing, and performance management.
- Bring technology direction and engineering best practices into the team.
- Focus on engineering quality, maintainability, testability, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners and business stakeholders.
- Act as the technical counterpart to the Product Owner within the team.
- Shape and help implement the technology strategy.
- Drive standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and improvement-oriented engineering culture.
- Participate actively in Agile product teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in an engineering role, such as Software Engineering, QA Engineering, or a comparable technical role.
- Experience leading, coaching, or developing engineers or engineering teams.
- Proven track record combining people leadership with technical judgment and delivery ownership.
- Strong understanding of engineering quality, maintainability, testability, and operational excellence.
- Ability to translate business priorities into realistic and sustainable execution.
- Strong communication and collaborative leadership skills.
- Excellent English skills, written and spoken.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe.
