Partner with our Enterprise Customers
As a Solutions Architect II on Akamai’s Enterprise Professional Services team, this role provides technical consulting and integration services. Responsibilities include delivering support for Akamai’s Zero Trust Solutions, collaborating with customers across industries, and focusing on post-sales integration. The position may also involve limited participation in pre-sales activities when required.
As a Solutions Architect II, you will be responsible for:
- Leading technical integration, deployment, and troubleshooting of ZTS services for enterprise customers.
- Serving as a trusted advisor to customers, providing best practices and technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Delivering coaching and training to customers to ensure the value and usability of our products.
- Collaborating with internal teams to address intricate technical challenges, documenting resolutions, developing technical materials, and fostering knowledge exchange within the group.
- Participating in pre-sales activities as needed (e.g., technical workshops, POCs).

To be successful in this role you will:
- Possess 6+ years of experience in web application or network security deployment, or supporting security solutions within an IT vendor environment.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Network Security and Zero Trust principles, expertise in VPN and proxy technologies.
- Have experience with cloud provider ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
- Demonstrate expertise in networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and TLS.
- Demonstrate expertise in authentication technologies and methods, including SAML, OIDC, and identity providers.
- Demonstrate expertise with Layer 3 and Layer 4 networking technologies and scripting using Python, Bash, JavaScript, or similar tools.
- Demonstrate expertise in at least one web development language or framework while ensuring high-quality implementation.
- Demonstrate exceptional consulting and client management abilities; present intricate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
