Urgent requirement of UFT & Python Automation Test Engineer - Contract - Sydney

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

· Develop, enhance, and maintain automated test scripts using UFT and Python.

· Automate backlog regression test cases to improve regression efficiency and reduce manual effort.

· Design reusable automation components and libraries.

· Execute automated and manual test cases during sprint and release cycles.

· Analyze execution results and troubleshoot automation failures.

· Log, track, and validate defects through resolution.

· Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills

· UFT (Unified Functional Testing)

· Python Automation

· Regression Automation

· Functional Testing

· JIRA / HP ALM

· SQL / Database Validation

· SDLC / STLC

· Agile Methodology

Preferred Skills

· API Testing (Postman/REST Assured)

· CI/CD (Jenkins/Azure DevOps)

· Selenium with Python

· BFSI Domain Experience

· Workflow-driven Applications Testing

Experience Requirements

  • 4–8 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Engineering.
  • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in UFT Automation.
  • Strong programming experience in Python.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining automation frameworks.
  • Experience in Agile delivery environments.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent. UFT certification preferred.

Success Criteria

· Independently automate regression test cases using UFT and Python.

· Achieve automation coverage targets within project timelines.

· Reduce manual regression effort through reusable automation components.

· Deliver high-quality automation scripts with minimal maintenance effort.

Duration: 06 Months and possible extension
