ABOUT THE ROLE As a Senior Software Engineer on the SRE team, you will focus on designing, building, and maintaining software solutions that improve reliability across the platform. This is a hands-on software engineering role with a strong emphasis on coding, automation, and scalable systems. You will collaborate closely with engineering, infrastructure, and product partners to deliver highly available, observable, and resilient systems. This role applies software engineering best practices to solve reliability and operational challenges in a cloud-based environment.
Job Description and Requirements
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Design, implement, and maintain software solutions that improve system reliability, observability, and scalability
- Develop automation and tooling to support reliability, capacity planning, and incident response
- Contribute to defining and improving Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Indicators (SLIs), and error budgets
- Extend and enhance CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices through engineering-driven improvements
- Support root cause analysis (RCA) investigations and implement long-term fixes through code and automation
- Participate in on-call rotations to support production systems and drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed SRE principles through software solutions
- Evaluate and adopt new tools, frameworks, and engineering approaches to improve system performance and reliability
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Required
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering roles
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, Java, or C# (.NET)
- Experience building and maintaining scalable, distributed systems (service-oriented or cloud-native architectures)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps practices
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, including Kubernetes (AKS) or related services
- Understanding of system resilience, redundancy, and disaster recovery concepts
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
Preferred
- Experience in reliability engineering, cloud infrastructure, or SRE environments
- Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry
- Experience working in high-availability, global SaaS environments
- Experience with Chaos Engineering and/or AIOps

This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives.
The expected salary range for this role is between following values:
208 000 and 312 000PLN
The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
