LGG is looking to expand its Digital & AI team with a Senior Data Engineer who will work with clients in the design, implementation, modernization, and optimization of enterprise-scale data platforms. This role is designed for a senior professional with 5+ years of experience who is ready to lead data engineering initiatives while contributing to complex client transformation programs.

- Design, migrate and implement modern cloud-native data platforms using Microsoft Fabric and similar platforms.
- Help organizations modernize legacy data estates and accelerate data-driven transformation.

- Coordinate with internal and
external stakeholders, ensuring timely and high-quality project delivery;
- Drive best practices in data architecture, governance, quality, security and scalability.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain enterprise-grade data platforms utilizing Microsoft Fabric and related technologies.
- Design and implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, and Gold) for support scalable and governed analytics solutions.
- Build, optimize and maintain end-to-end data pipelines covering all stages of the data lifecycle: Data ingestion; Data transformation; Data orchestration; Data storage; Data quality and monitoring; Data modeling; Analytics and reporting enablement
- Lead or contribute to Azure Data Factory (ADF) to Microsoft Fabric migration initiatives.
- Develop solutions using Fabric Data Factory OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Notebooks, Semantic Models, and Power BI.
- Design scalable ETL/ELT processes and data models supporting enterprise reporting, analytics, and AI use cases.
- Implement best practices in data governance, security, quality, lineage, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with consultants, engineers, product owners, and client stakeholders in agile environments.
- Document technical designs and communicate architecture decisions effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional proficiency in English.
Requirements:
- Fluency
in English (mandatory);
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Platform Development, or Data Architecture.
- Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric across the end-to-end data lifecycle.
- Minimum 2 years of practical Microsoft Fabric experience.
- Proven implementation of Medallion Architecture in production environments.
- Experience with Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory, and Power BI Semantic Models.
- Strong SQL and Python skills.
- Experience developing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Experience with Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and modern cloud data architectures.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and dimensional modeling concepts.
- Experience implementing data governance, security, and data quality frameworks.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services and enterprise architecture principles.
- Experience working in agile delivery environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Key Screening Criteria
- Describe a full Azure Data Factory to Microsoft Fabric migration you delivered, including how you redesigned ingestion, transformed data through Bronze/Silver/Gold layers, managed governance, and exposed the data through Power BI.
Diferentials:
- Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-700) certification.
- Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, or Azure SQL.
- Experience supporting analytics, AI, or machine learning workloads.
- Experience within financial services, consulting, or other regulated industries.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, DataOps, and DevOps practices.
- Experience with Microsoft Purview.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers or leading technical workstreams.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates.
