Full description

Overview:  The Associate Product Operations Manager supports the daily operational and analytical activities that enable the successful delivery and performance of Inovalon’s product portfolio. This position works closely with Product Leadership, Technology, Client Services, and other cross-functional partners to ensure operational excellence, process consistency, and accurate tracking of product performance metrics and client deliverables.

This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to learn how product operations support business goals and customer outcomes in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in tracking key product performance metrics, client deliverables, and operational workflows to ensure accountability across teams.
  • Partner with Product Operations leadership to coordinate project tasks, manage timelines, and monitor progress toward product or client milestones.
  • Support documentation efforts by developing and maintaining process flows, procedures, and dashboards that enhance transparency and performance tracking.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Product, Technology, Client Services, and Engineering to streamline communication and ensure smooth operational execution.
  • Conduct data validation, reporting, and analysis to identify gaps, process inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Help prepare operational or executive-level reports that summarize progress against key objectives and contractual metrics.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in productivity, workflow automation, and performance measurement.
  • Maintain compliance with Inovalon’s policies, procedures, and mission statement.
  • Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined in Inovalon’s Operating Policies and Procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the operational and financial success of the organization.

Job Requirements:

  • 0–2 years of relevant experience in product operations, business operations, or project coordination (healthcare industry experience preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and related business tools (experience with ServiceNow or Aha! are plus).
  • Familiarity with project management or CRM tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Salesforce) preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accountability for accurate, high-quality work.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and organizational skills with an interest in understanding both business and technical concepts.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Sedentary work (i.e. sitting for long periods of time);
  • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force;
  • Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions;
  • Subject to inside environmental conditions; and
  • Travel for this position will include less than 5% locally usually for training purposes.
