We are currently seeking to employ a talented and highly-motivated “Business & Systems Analyst” to join our team.
Purpose:
To act as a liaison between Business and IT and guide the organization in implementing and improving solutions & systems, by analyzing organization or business domains and document its business or processes or systems, assessing the business model or its integration with technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyzes business needs and elicits requirements by interacting with business stakeholders and experts.
- Identifies opportunities and problems related to processes, systems and future developments on products and solutions, evaluates and proposes optimal solutions and their feasibility. Takes part and advice in internal process reengineering.
- Based on quantitative and qualitative data, develops or contributes to business cases and business plan initiatives in order to support decision making.
- As member of an integrated team work with business and IT (system architects and developers) to implement technology solutions by defining, analyzing and documenting how the system should work (non-functional requirements) and what the system should do (functional requirements).
- Monitors implementation tasks of external vendors. Acts as liaison between external vendors/partners and Internal IT departments in order to ensure optimal collaboration.
- Sets up in system of new/adjusted insurance products and their respective printouts based on teams decisions and guidelines.
- Facilitates and executes user acceptance testing for any technical development (products, system, applications etc.) and communicates feedback to the team.
- Creates and updates system documentation and user manuals, trains and communicates to respective users for every designed solution that is implemented.
- Reports progress and remaining effort to stakeholders and assesses potential risks in the implementation phase of company initiatives.
- Develops and shares knowledge in their own field with relevant internal stakeholders, for example by providing training.
Knowledge & experience:
- BSc degree in Business Studies/ Business Administration Management/ Information Technology or in similar fields.
- Knowledge of insurance (Certification).
- Knowledge of systems, systems' integrations and processes.
- Knowledge of building a business case.
- Proved Analytical thinking skills.
- Advanced knowledge of English Language.
- 3-5 years of relevant working experience.
