As a critical member of the Perth Airport Leadership Team, the Airports Infrastructure & Project Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of airport operations by connecting infrastructure delivery with operational excellence. Partnering closely with airport leaders, project teams and Perth Airport stakeholders, this role provides operational oversight of major infrastructure and construction activities, ensuring impacts are identified early, risks are effectively managed and outcomes support the long-term evolution of the airport operating model.
Leading business improvement initiatives and strategic projects, you will drive innovation, continuous improvement and operational efficiency across the airport environment. Acting as the key link between planning and execution, this role influences critical decisions, contributes to future-focused design reviews and ensures airport operations remain at the centre of every infrastructure outcome.
You’ll have:
- Proven experience leading complex infrastructure, operational or business improvement projects within a large, fast-paced organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project delivery, risk assessments and change initiatives across multiple business functions and stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence outcomes and facilitate discussions at leadership level.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills, with a collaborative and customer-focused approach.
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to identify opportunities, mitigate risks and drive practical solutions.
- Experience developing business cases, implementation plans and continuous improvement initiatives that deliver measurable operational outcomes.
- Strategic mindset with strong attention to detail, able to challenge the status quo and contribute to future-focused operational and infrastructure planning.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Project Management, Change Management or a related discipline, with Continuous Improvement, Lean Six Sigma or equivalent industry credentials viewed favourably.
