Job Description:
An opportunity for a Jigs and Tools Engineer has arisen within Airbus Operations, Illescas.
The selected candidate will join the Mfg. Eng. Tools Development Team for a 1-year mission. You will work directly with manufacturing engineering, operations, health & safety, maintenance, and quality teams to support the assembly line of the A350F Main Deck Cargo Door (MDCD).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide production support for the A350F Main Deck Cargo Door assembly line (requires availability to work in a triple production shift pattern).
- Support retrofit activities for the B1B cargo door test into a flyable part, as well as the retrofit of MSN701.
- Design and specify tooling solutions in close collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Health & Safety, Maintenance, and Tooling Quality.
- Integrate J&T solutions seamlessly into the industrial system through a robust acceptance process based on defined KPIs.
- Manage all tooling-related plant activities within the frame of the Main Deck Cargo Door assembly line.
