Job Description:
The University of Florida is seeking a Data Management Analyst III to advance the Division of Enrollment Management's data and analytics strategy. Working closely with the Director of Enrollment Research and Analytics, this position will develop and maintain business intelligence solutions, data models, dashboards, and reporting tools that support data-informed decision-making across the enrollment lifecycle. Candidates should possess strong expertise in business intelligence, data visualization, data modeling, SQL development, and analytics, with the ability to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Business Intelligence & Reporting
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Tableau dashboards and reporting tools that support enrollment, recruitment, and student success initiatives.
- Create executive dashboards, KPI scorecards, and self-service reporting solutions for leadership and stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain standards for reporting quality, usability, accessibility, and data consistency.
Data Modeling & Analytics Infrastructure
- Design, develop, and optimize data models, datasets, SQL queries, and data pipelines within Snowflake, UF OneLake, and other enterprise reporting environments.
- Integrate and manage data from multiple institutional systems, including Slate CRM, PeopleSoft, Financial Aid, and marketing platforms.
- Ensure data integrity, governance, documentation, and process automation across reporting environments.
Enrollment Research & Data Analysis
- Conduct statistical, predictive, and trend analyses to support enrollment forecasting, recruitment strategies, and institutional planning.
- Analyze applicant, admission, enrollment, and student success data to identify opportunities and inform decision-making.
- Support executive reporting, enrollment projections, and strategic initiatives.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Consulting
- Partner with Enrollment Management, Institutional Research, UF Information Technology, academic colleges, and other campus units to develop reporting and analytics solutions.
- Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Promote data-informed decision-making across the division.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies, analytics tools, and business intelligence best practices.
- Support AI-enabled analytics, reporting enhancements, and process improvements.
- Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
Expected Salary:
$90,000 annually

Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and four years of relevant experience.
Preferred:
• A bachelor's or master's degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Higher Education Administration, or a related discipline.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large-scale relational databases.
• Expertise using Technolutions Slate or similar CRM platforms.
• Knowledge of admissions, enrollment management, student success, or CRM operations in higher education or other complex organizations.
• Experience developing solutions that leverage JavaScript and API technologies.
• A strong understanding of data integration, ETL processes, and enterprise reporting environments.
• The ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and communicate findings effectively to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to build positive working relationships and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, translating complex data concepts into clear, actionable information for both technical and non-technical audiences.
