Manufacturing Engineering Manager | Wiring Team

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the Wiring Team within our Production Engineering organization in Tukwila, WA.
This role is responsible for driving manufacturing process improvements, supporting production activities, and ensuring the efficient fabrication, assembly, installation, and testing of wiring harnesses, electrical assemblies, and related components. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience, a deep understanding of wiring and electrical manufacturing processes, and a proven ability to improve quality, reduce cost, and support on-time delivery in a fast-paced aerospace or high-precision manufacturing environment.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Production Engineering.
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures, and sets operational goals.
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers, and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes.
- Manages, develops, and motivates employees.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
- Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in wiring, electrical assembly, or aerospace manufacturing.
- Experienced leading a manufacturing engineering wiring statement of work (SOW).

Summary pay range: $151,300 - $204,700
