The Compliance and Business Operations Analyst supports the end-to-end customer onboarding lifecycle by ensuring compliance, licensing, and operational requirements are executed accurately and efficiently. The role coordinates onboarding activities, compliance reviews, entitlement management, and operational processes while serving as a key liaison among Sales, Operations, Account Specialists, third-party vendors, Customer Support, and Compliance teams.

This position requires strong analytical skills, stakeholder engagement, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, revenue-impacting environment.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Compliance Operations & Governance

  • Track and manage sales orders through the onboarding and fulfillment process, ensuring compliance requirements are satisfied prior to installation and billing.
  • Collaborate with Account Specialists to support sales execution and customer onboarding.
  • Monitor and manage Siebel and Salesforce CPQ fulfillment tickets to ensure alignment with billing and licensing requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of approvals, entitlements, and compliance activities.

 

Onboarding & Trial Governance

  • Coordinate and support onboarding activities for Quant Data Solutions platform and content offerings globally, including: QA Direct, QA Cloud, QA Snowflake, QA AWS S3, QA Databricks, And any new offerings
  • Support trial setup and administration across platform, content, and selected SFTP feed products.
  • Ensure trials are approved, tracked, and closed in accordance with licensing and compliance standards.

 

Compliance Advisory & Risk Management

  • Provide guidance on licensing, entitlement, usage, and compliance-related inquiries from Sales, Customer Support, and Operations teams.
  • Partner with internal Compliance functions and third-party vendors to clarify licensing requirements and support issue resolution.
  • Assist in reviewing contractual obligations and compliance considerations related to product access and content usage.
  • Escalate complex compliance matters where necessary and support risk mitigation activities.
  • Cross Functional Coordination & Project Management
  • Support high-priority compliance projects, adjusting priorities based on business needs.
  • Ensure clear communication back to stakeholders regarding status, risks, and resolution timelines.
  • Coordinate with Tech, Operations, and Support to improve process efficiency and system alignment.

 

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Support compliance reporting activities.
  • Identify process gaps and support continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen compliance controls and scalability.
  • Support regional or global revenue related compliance initiatives in partnership with senior leadership

 

Required Capabilities & Competencies

  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across Sales, Operations, IT, Customer Support, and Compliance functions.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail.
  • Understanding of compliance, licensing, entitlement management, and operational processes, or the ability to develop deep subject matter expertise.
  • Experience working with CRM, workflow, reporting, or operational systems.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Sound judgment and risk awareness when handling compliance-sensitive matters.
