About the Role

Montecito Bank & Trust is seeking a full-time Senior Project Manager to join the team in our Marketing department. As a Senior Project Manager, you will deliver a World Class Experience by being armed with conviction, collaboration, attention to detail and a can-do attitude. This individual thrives in a dynamic and concurrent multi-project environment. As project lead on multiple cross-departmental projects, the Senior Project Manager ensures the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of all assigned projects. In addition to day-to-day project management, this individual is responsible for updating PMO processes and policies. You will be located in Santa Barbara, CA with the opportunity for a hybrid work schedule.

What We’re Looking For

  • A college degree emphasizing technology or banking preferred.
  • 5-8 years of banking experience preferred
  • 8-10 years of Project Management experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of core processing applications, digital banking systems, customer relationship management solutions and other banking related applications preferred.
  • Detail-oriented and proven ability to effectively multi-task and problem solve under pressure.
  • Expedient and efficient project management approach, including documentation, issue resolution and accountability.

Your Responsibilities

The essential functions of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the full project management life cycle for the implementation of cross-departmental technology and business initiatives, ranging from the simple to the complex, including co-management of projects with third parties/vendors.
  • Create and manage detailed project documentation in accordance with the policies and processes of the PMO, including but not limited to project plans and documentation of associated risks, issues and decisions
  • Present project updates, including escalation of risks and technical issues, to executive management on a regular basis, and document resulting item resolution.
  • Coordinate with outside consultants (vendors, independent contractors, etc.) to ensure PMO and business objectives are aligned and Bank expectations are satisfied.
  • Develop and manage full-scale project plans, including dependencies, milestones, critical paths, risk assessments and associated project communication documents, start to finish.
  • Hold project team members accountable, while communicating, and routinely updating, project expectations to project team members and stakeholders in an efficient and clear fashion.
