Technical Support Engineer
Location: Schiedam, the Netherlands
About the role: In this position, you will provide technical support to our sales eBus team for demo bus testing, maintaining good relationships and a strong reputation with customers and service providers. You will work with R&D and other internal departments to improve the demo buses to meet customer demands. You are passionate about new electric vehicle technology and the sustainable industry, and you have the ability to work in a dynamic, international, and multicultural environment.
Key responsibilities: 1. Provide technical support for DEMO buses, including status maintenance and assisting in bidding tests. 2. Follow up on customer test and collect specific vehicle requirements from customers. 3. Inspect and upgrade DEMO buses to ensure they meet required standards. 4. Support other sales-related activities involving DEMO buses.
Customer relationship: 1. Develop and maintain the customer relationship on an operational and middle management level; 2. Assist BYD sales Ebus team during testing with customers;
Experience, skills and qualifications: 1. Strong learning ability, with the capacity to quickly adapt and respond to challenges. 2. A solid understanding of buses or cars, along with basic electrical knowledge. 3. Willingness and ability to undertake frequent business trips. 4. Fluency in English and Chinese is required, Dutch is a plus
