This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Project Manager (Construction) based in India.
This is a remote construction operations and project coordination role supporting residential and light commercial projects. You will serve as a central coordination point between project leadership, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients. The role focuses on keeping schedules, tasks, communications, documentation, and material deliveries organized and moving forward. You will manage multiple priorities while proactively identifying issues and following through on outstanding commitments. Strong ownership, responsiveness, and attention to detail will be essential to maintaining smooth project execution. Accountabilities:
- Coordinate subcontractor schedules, project information, follow-ups, and outstanding commitments.
- Track project timelines, action items, deadlines, and completion status to keep projects progressing.
- Maintain accurate, organized, and accessible project records and documentation.
- Coordinate communication between project leadership, subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and clients.
- Follow up proactively to ensure assigned tasks and commitments are completed on time.
- Keep clients informed throughout projects by providing timely updates on schedules, progress, and outstanding items.
- Respond to client questions professionally and coordinate the information needed to address their requests.
- Organize pricing, approvals, and documentation associated with change orders.
- Track change-order requests and ensure required approvals are obtained and properly documented.
- Coordinate supplier orders, material availability, and delivery schedules.
- Follow up with vendors and suppliers to help ensure materials arrive according to project requirements.
- Identify potential scheduling, supply, or delivery issues and communicate them promptly to the relevant stakeholders.
- Support day-to-day construction operations and project coordination as needed.
- Manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines while maintaining strong organization and follow-through.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Highly self-directed approach with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and responsibility.
- Professional, responsive, and approachable communication style.
- Strong written communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fully remote environment.
- Proactive mindset with a demonstrated ability to identify what needs to be done without constant supervision.
- Strong follow-through, problem-solving skills, and focus on completing tasks and delivering results.
- Previous experience in project coordination, administration, operations, or a related role is preferred.
- Construction industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, clients, or other external stakeholders is an advantage.
- Familiarity with construction project workflows, schedules, documentation, and change-order processes is beneficial.
- Experience managing multiple projects or competing priorities simultaneously is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with professionals and clients across different countries and time zones.
Benefits:
- Fully remote, full-time position.
- Monthly salary of $1,000–$1,300.
- Work schedule within a 7 AM–7 PM CST time range.
- 9-hour daily schedule, including 8 working hours and a 1-hour break.
- Two days off per week, with specific days to be determined.
